I am really excited about the new cannabis awards ceremony that is being held in Humboldt County this September! I was alerted to this new “cup” style event last week and I hope if you are a legal 215 patient in California you’ll take a happy little road trip to attend.
Please support independent artisan cannabis competitions like this! The Golden Tarp Award is the first-ever light deprivation cannabis competition. This method of cultivating cannabis is an eco-friendly method that utilizes tarps to manipulate the light cycle of cannabis plants with minimal electricity use.
What makes this cannabis competition special IMO is that they take so much care in testing and selecting entries for purity. As an allergy patient, I found this to be impressive. Mold, artificial chemicals and other toxins in cannabis are no joke. Entries in this competition are tested for mold, chemical contamination and are held to strict standards. Safe medicine is the best medicine.
